An Opt-Out Clause
About this audiobook
Gino Rome walked into courtroom 4C facing twenty years. He walked out an hour later, acquitted on a technicality he didn't understand, with a new lawyer he'd never met and a signature he didn't remember giving.
The wins kept coming after that. Every verdict fell his way. Every disaster missed him by inches — a truck accident he shouldn't have survived, a fall that should have killed him. Fourteen people filmed it. By morning, he was famous.
But Max, the man who drew up the deal, told him where to find the catch before Gino ever signed: page nine. Gino didn't read it.
Now the bill is coming due, and the fine print has teeth.
A darkly comic, high-stakes deal-with-the-devil story about the price of getting everything you asked for.
