About this audiobook

The only thing standing between you and seven figures...is you.

Congratulations! You’ve accomplished something most people only dream about: You’ve started a business. You have paying customers. You survived the early chaos of entrepreneurship.

But meeting preliminary benchmarks doesn’t guarantee future success. The uncomfortable truth is that you’re probably making avoidable mistakes. You’re hiring the right people for the wrong roles. You see marketing as an “extra” investment you’ll make later. In The Million Dollar Hurdle, Jim Fitzgerald identifies the problems holding your business back and offers a fast track for reaching seven figures. You’ll learn how to focus your attention on the areas that count, how to build the business rather than doing busy work, and how to utilize the right people—and resources—to take your organization to the next level.

For the hands-on, self-made business owner, The Million Dollar Hurdle is the must-read playbook for updating your strategy and elevating your business.

I recommend The Million Dollar Hurdle to an owner of an established small or midsize business who has real customers and revenue but feels trapped in day-to-day operations. It should especially appeal to hands-on founders in service businesses, local companies, agencies, trades, professional practices, and similar organizations where the owner has grown by being good at the work and now has to become good at building the company around that work.
