Butch Enough for Two: A Sapphic Opposites Attract Romance

She’s a mechanic who fixes everything but herself. She’s a security consultant whose only defense is a wall of discipline. Together, they’re on a collision course.

Frankie Alvarez doesn’t do soft. She does grease, heavy wrenches, and running the best custom motorcycle shop in the building. After years of being treated as an inconvenient secret by her exes, Frankie’s rules are simple: hands first, mouth later, and never let anyone tell you to take up less space. But when a devastatingly competent new security contractor starts patrolling her hallways, Frankie’s carefully built defenses start to strip away.

Dani Mercer operates on pure hypervigilance. Since leaving the Army, she has structured her civilian life around keeping everything—and everyone—at a safe, professional distance. She’s at the Ironworks to lock doors and enforce protocols, not to get distracted by a hot-tempered mechanic with tattooed forearms and a protective streak a mile wide.

But when a thunderstorm traps them in the shop, their professional friction combusts into an intense, scorching connection. Dani discovers that beneath Frankie's loud swagger is a woman who desperately wants a safe place to let go, and Frankie learns that the only way to dismantle Dani's armor is to prove she can handle what's underneath.

As a string of break-ins threatens the shop, the local Finger Lakes community, and Dani’s contract, they’ll have to decide if what they’ve built in the dark is strong enough to survive the light.

Butch Enough for Two is a high-heat, deeply emotional sapphic romance featuring intense competence porn, a fierce opposites-attract dynamic, and a hard-earned happily ever after.
