Your Invisible Power

Brought to you by Altrusian Grace Media and human-narrated by Matthew Schmitz. Your Invisible Power by Genevieve Behrend is a practical guide to the creative power of thought, visualization, faith, and disciplined mental focus, based largely on the Mental Science teachings of Thomas Troward. Behrend argues that the mind acts as an individualized center of a universal creative intelligence, and that clearly imagining a desired condition, sustaining it with confidence, and acting in harmony with that vision can gradually bring it into physical expression. Drawing upon metaphysical principles, personal experiences, and examples of visualization applied to health, prosperity, relationships, achievement, and spiritual development, she emphasizes that thought must be accompanied by will, faith, emotional conviction, and appropriate action. Ultimately, the book teaches that individuals need not regard themselves as victims of circumstance, but can develop greater self-mastery by understanding the relationship between thought and experience, directing their inner life constructively, and recognizing what Behrend describes as the “invisible power” continually operating through the human mind.
