Stars in the Darkness: A Prophecy of Shadows I

During a road trip with his two best friends, high school senior David Stone meets Amesemi, the girl of his dreams. Everything is just perfect until the sky turns black. David's not sure if it's an attack or a vision, but he sees living darkness around them, consuming them, and then nothing. They wake up miles away with no sign of Amesemi, a bloody handprint on David's chest, and the inability to account for the past twenty-five hours. The search for Amesemi leads the three friends to a shocking revelation. Darkness is real, and humans are not the only creatures who walk the earth. There are monsters and gods hidden in our midst waging a secret war. Amesemi and the mysterious power of the Earthbound hold the key—but only if she can be found in time. David is destined to play a crucial role. But destiny is a choice, and what he chooses next will shake the world.
