When she sees the officer and remembers her frightening experience, she screams and faints, and is rushed to the hospital. What Sally does not know, and what the police eventually and reluctantly conclude, is that Sally and her car have been hurled ahead in time from 1953 to 2023. Driven by the urgency to reunite with her children, Sally is forced to confront the reason for her time leap journey and to grapple with a life-and-death decision.
