Love and Dynasty

Love and Dynasty is a modern arranged-marriage romance rooted in power, legacy, and deliberate love.

Katie Hughes—heiress to Hughes Capital, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, one of the world’s largest financial real estate firms—arrives in Zambia expecting a quiet family vacation. Instead, she discovers she is at the center of a carefully orchestrated alliance between two global dynasties.

Her marriage to Walu Lisulo, heir to one of the world’s most influential engineering and construction conglomerates, Lisulo Holdings Group, headquartered in Lusaka, Zambia, is not born of passion, but of strategy—land, infrastructure, and inheritance binding their families together long before either had a choice.

As Katie navigates the disciplined hierarchy of Zambia’s most powerful families, she must learn how to exist inside a union designed to protect empires rather than hearts. What begins as obligation slowly evolves into respect, trust, and a love shaped by intention rather than impulse.

Set across Zambia and the United States, Love and Dynasty is a restrained, slow-burn romance about legacy, belonging, and discovering intimacy within a marriage built for permanence.
