Authentic Grace grew from Juliet’s study of Paul’s letter to the Ephesians and from her own journey of discovering what it means to live from what Christ has already accomplished rather than continually trying to earn what God has freely given.
Although Juliet shares portions of her story throughout this book, she does not want her story to be its destination. Her desire is that every testimony, every Scripture, and every chapter ultimately turns the reader’s eyes toward Jesus Christ.

About the author
Dr. Juliet Tennison is a Christian author, ordained chaplain counselor, educator, and registered nurse whose life and ministry reflect a deep passion for helping others encounter the transforming grace of Jesus Christ.
Born and raised in Kenya as one of eleven children, Juliet later moved to the United States, where she pursued higher education and built a career spanning more than twenty years in critical and intensive care nursing. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education with studies in theology and psychology and a PhD in Divinity.
Her years of caring for people during some of life’s most vulnerable moments have deepened her compassion and strengthened her desire to communicate the hope found in Christ.
Together with her husband, Dr. Alfred Tennison, Juliet has served others through Christian ministry and counseling. Their marriage of more than three decades, their family, and the joys and trials of ordinary life have continually taught her that grace is not merely a doctrine to understand—it is a life to be lived.
