About the author
David Warner is a former professional cricketer and highly skilled batsman who retired from Test Cricket in January 2024. He has written eight children's books in the Kaboom Kid series in order to encourage kids of all persuasions to play cricket for fun and fitness.
David Vatousios graduated from the Arts Academy in Ballarat after three years of theatre-based acting training. He was involved in the VB ‘Raise a Glass’ Campaign and has toured secondary schools with a show depicting issues surrounding teenage boys. He has always loved reading and is thrilled that he can now do it professionally.
