Conscience

**Your conscience is God's alarm system. Is yours awake?**

Before anyone taught you right from wrong, something inside you already knew. That inner voice — the one that stings when you lie and rests when you tell the truth — is your conscience: the witness God installed in your soul. But consciences are not fixed. They can be wounded, dulled, even seared silent. And they can be awakened, cleansed, retrained, and guarded.

In *Conscience*, Kimani Upshur, M.Ed., walks you through the conscience as a faculty — what it is, how it was formed in your childhood, what wounds and sears it, and how God restores it. With twelve short, Scripture-first chapters, you will learn:

- What your conscience is and how it works as God's inner alarm

- How your childhood tuned it — and how God can retune it

- What a clear conscience feels like (nothing hidden, nothing owed)

- How to heal a wounded conscience and wake a seared one

- How the blood of Christ purifies your conscience from dead works

- How to retrain your alarm by renewing your mind with Scripture

- How to honor a weak conscience — yours and your brother's

- How to guard your conscience daily, by grace, for life

Built around three unforgettable words — **Awaken. Retrain. Guard.** — each chapter includes a Scripture passage, warm pastoral teaching, three reflection questions, three practical application steps, and a written prayer. Read one chapter a day for twelve days, and finish with a conscience that rings true.

Part of THE MADE SIMPLE FRAMEWORK. Scripture first, teaching follows.
