Funerals and Familiars: A Cozy Midlife Witch Paranormal Mystery

Midlife can be magic—or murder . . .

Bex Merriweather craves a new start after the blow-up of her marriage. At forty-eight, coming home to Willowmere doesn't just feel good. It feels right. Even if it's the additional blow of losing her aunt that brought her back to Oregon, and to her girlfriends who've always had her back.

But the woman who raised her left her more than a house and a lending library. Bex also inherits cat Cosmo (a definite upgrade from her cheating husband).

And then Cosmo talks . . .

Turns out, the library contains more than books. It hides a magical secret, and Bex is now also a witch, tasked with taking care of Willowmere. But first she needs to master her new powers, with Cosmo's help, all while going through The Change.

The next thing she knows, she and her bossy, opinionated familiar have to solve a murder—one blamed on her late aunt.

Bex and Cosmo set out to prove her aunt's innocence. But the killer is willing to strike again, threatening to cut Bex's magical chapter short.
