Collision & Coincidence: A Thornton-Adjacent Steamy Short Story

Their paths have crossed before, but not like this. Will one night together in an unlikely destination be enough?

What begins as an inconvenience becomes an opportunity when Seth Weston, en route to his hometown on Lake Ontario, finds himself stuck in Utica, New York, and in the company of Iris Björnsdóttir—a friend of a friend and a fascinating and beautiful woman.

Iris Björnsdóttir is in Utica to meet a new client. Treating herself to the old-fashioned luxury of the Wild Rose Inn takes on a new meaning when Seth walks through the door. She's always liked him, and there's no arguing his charm and good looks, or the haunting sadness he tries to pretend he isn't carrying.

Neither Seth nor Iris expected spending the night together would unleash feelings they don't want to ignore.

Collision & Coincidence is a tender, steamy one-night story with an implied future reunion. It can be read on its own, but readers familiar with Thornton may recognize the Seth and Iris from previous books.
