LOOSE THREADS

A Political Conspiracy Thriller

A contract killer takes the job.

Then he decides to expose the people who ordered it.

Brill Wingfield is a professional problem solver—the kind of man powerful people hire when they need a situation permanently resolved. When a quiet fixer slides an envelope across a bar in Washington, D.C., the assignment seems simple:

Eliminate Senator Diana Reyes before a crucial defense procurement vote.

But Brill isn’t just another hired gun.

Instead of pulling the trigger, he warns the target.

Now the two of them are caught in a deadly game against some of the most powerful players in Washington.

As Brill digs deeper, he uncovers a massive political conspiracy tied to a multi-billion-dollar military contract. Six U.S. senators. A powerful defense contractor. A shadowy corporate security firm operating in the gray zone between espionage and organized crime.

And somewhere in the chain is the man who authorized the hit.

With only seventy-two hours before the assassination window closes, Brill must walk a razor’s edge—pretending to carry out the contract while secretly unraveling the conspiracy behind it. Every step exposes another thread connecting political power, corporate money, and covert operations.

But someone is watching.

Someone who already knows Brill’s name.

And they’re willing to break bones—or bury bodies—to keep the truth hidden.

Now the hunter has become the target.

And the closer Brill gets to the truth, the more dangerous the game becomes.

Because in Washington, the deadliest weapons aren’t bullets.

They’re secrets.
