BLEED RATE

A Modern Noir Thriller About Stealing from the Cartel—and Living Long Enough to Regret It

Jack Almeida is a professional.

He plans. He studies. He doesn’t improvise.

So when he hijacks an armored cash transfer moving cartel money across the Arizona desert, the job goes exactly as designed. Two Pelican cases. Nine hundred thousand dollars. No witnesses who matter. No mistakes that can be traced.

Except someone sees him.

And someone knows what he’s done.

As federal agents map his patterns along the I-10 corridor and cartel fixers start hunting for their vanished money, Jack moves the cash into the desert and disappears into the blind spots only locals understand. Storage units. Dead drops. Superstition foothills that don’t exist on any map.

But professionals notice patterns.

And the people coming for him are professionals too.

BLEED RATE is a modern noir thriller about surveillance, logistics, betrayal, and the cost of being smarter than everyone else. Told through shifting perspectives—law enforcement, corporate investigators, cartel intermediaries, and the man at the center of it all—it’s a tense, cinematic cat-and-mouse chase where every move leaves a trace, and every trace can get you killed.

Perfect for fans of Don Winslow, Michael Mann, Lee Child, and gritty crime thrillers with realistic procedural detail, BLEED RATE delivers high-stakes heists, desert noir atmosphere, and a protagonist who understands one truth:

Stealing the money is easy.

Keeping it is what makes you bleed.
