The Innocents

Bridget Walsh was born in London to Irish immigrant parents. She studied English literature and was an English teacher for 23 years, before leaving the profession to pursue her writing. Bridget lives in Norwich with her husband, Micky, and her two dogs. The manuscript of Bridget's debut novel, The Tumbling Girl, written on the MA Creative Writing (Crime Fiction) course at UEA, won the 2024 HWA Debut Crown Award and the UEA Little, Brown Award for Crime Fiction in 2019. It also made the shortlist for the CWA ILP John Creasey (New Blood) Dagger 2024. She has completed the second title in the Minnie Ward and Albert Easterbrook series, The Innocents. The Tumbling Girl was published by Gallic Books in May 2023, with The Innocents following in 2024.

Jasmine Blackborow is an experienced voice over artist working across audiobooks, film, commercial and video games. She's voiced 70 audiobooks and has recently narrated an immersive 360-degree film “Granite to Galaxies” for Screen Cornwall. She will soon be seen as lead cast in Neil Forsyth’s new six-part Netflix series LEGENDS opposite Steve Coogan, Tom Burke, and Hayley Squires. She plays Charlie in Guy Ritchie’s THE GENTLEMEN for Netflix alongside Theo James and Joely Richardson, for which she will return for season 2 and will be seen portraying Bella Freud alongside Ellie Bamber and Derek Jacobi in MOSS AND FREUD and in ODYSSEY from renowned British director Gerard Johnson which premiered at SXSW 2025. Jasmine will also star in the Netflix adaptation of PRIDE AND PREJUDICE.
