Bible Memory

Bible Memory

Picture the late hour when an unwelcome thought comes, and the verse you need is already inside you — unsearched, unsummoned, already there. That is what this book is about: hiding God's Word in your heart so it is there when you need it — in the dark, in the battle, in the conversation you did not see coming.

This is not a book about memory tricks. It is a book about one discipline, built on the psalmist's words: "I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you." The journey moves in three movements: Hide. Hold. Speak. Hide — why God wants His Word stored in your heart, how to choose the verses worth memorizing, and a simple system for getting them in. Hold — how to keep what you memorize, through meditation, review, tackling longer passages, and honest grace for the days your memory fails. Speak — how to put the hidden Word to work: answering temptation the way Jesus did in the wilderness with "It is written," praying Scripture back to God, and standing ready to answer anyone who asks.

Twelve short chapters, one a day. Each chapter opens with a Scripture passage, teaches under a few plain subheads, and ends with "Your move this week" — one clear action to take. You do not need a great memory. You need a willing heart and a simple system.
