Lipstick in the Basement: A Braxton Steele Novel

Two little boys were born on the same day, within the same hour, and on opposite sides of the world. Both were abused as children. Both were diagnosed with mental disorders at a very young age. Both carried the psychological counselling first started in their youth into their adult lives, and both are forever marked by the invisible scars inflicted upon them by their parents. But that's where the similarities end.

One of the little boys grew up to become a decorated police officer, raising a family and doing everything within his control to suppress the hurt just to get through the day. The other little boy, while reaching the pinnacle of academic achievement by completing his Ph.D. in psychology, grew up to be a psychopathic killer with a penchant for murdering women.

Lipstick in the Basement is a psychological thriller that grabs your attention from the very beginning and refuses to let go, putting on center stage the thinking of two individuals who cannot escape their calamitous upbringing or each other once their lives become entangled.
