Her First Bad Decision: A Steamy Age-Gap Sapphic Romance

She has everything to prove. Her mother’s chief of staff has everything to lose. Sometimes, the best decisions are the ones you aren’t allowed to make.

Twenty-six-year-old Tamsin Cade is done running from her family’s legacy. Returning to Bellamy House, her family’s flagship luxury resort, she is determined to prove she is more than just a billionaire’s daughter by launching a massive revitalization plan. But her mother isn't handing over the reins without a test. Tamsin’s evaluator? Nicolette “Nix” Arbour, the hyper-competent, ruthlessly precise, and devastatingly attractive Chief of Staff.

At forty, Nix has built her entire life around operational control and professional discipline. She didn't claw her way up from nothing to risk her career on a summer romance with the boss’s daughter. Nix’s job is to evaluate Tamsin’s competence, keep her at arm's length, and ensure the resort's future is secure.

But as a looming private equity buyout threatens to destroy Bellamy House and cost the staff their jobs, Tamsin and Nix are forced into late-night strategy sessions, hurricane-swept proximity, and stolen moments in the shadows of the resort. What starts as a fierce clash of wills quickly ignites into an undeniable, scorching attraction.

With millions of dollars, dozens of jobs, and Nix's hard-won career on the line, surrendering to their chemistry might be a terrible mistake. But as the heat between them burns through their carefully constructed boundaries, Tamsin is about to find out that her first bad decision might just be the only one that matters.
