The New Humans

The New Humans look like you and I. But they don't need food or water. They don't even need sleep. They never get tired. They have a constant level of boundless energy 24/7/365. They can perform tasks we would find repetitive and boring without complaining.

They don't need coffee breaks. They never strike for better pay because they have no interest in money. Ditto success, sex, achievement, prestige, approval and admiration. They have no ego. And thus - no beliefs.

The New Humans are also creative thinkers. They're able to solve complex problems quicky. Without consulting books, experts or the internet. They're also quick leaners. Able to absorb whatever quantity of information is relative to their task.

They have a memory of the entire range of Human history.Literature. Art. Science. Philosophy. The speak all known languages fluently. Even the ancient ones.

The only two things the new Humans don't have are a heart. And a soul.

In this chillingly prophetic book, Investigative Jourmalist Anthony Tremain explains how, and to what degree our lives will, and are changing, with the arrival of the New Humans.
