All Cats Are Gray: Treasure, Terror, And A Silent Drift
About this audiobook
“All Cats Are Gray” is one of Andre Norton’s most memorable space legends. A drifting pleasure ship, abandoned without explanation, waits in the darkness of space. Anyone who boards it either vanishes or refuses to speak of what they’ve seen. The reward for capturing it could change a life forever — if the prize doesn’t claim you first.
Into this silent mystery step Steena, a gray, quiet woman who sees what others miss, Cliff Moran, a spacer on the edge of losing everything, and Bat, the large gray tom-cat who senses what no human can. Together they walk the empty corridors of the ghost ship, following clues, shadows, and fear. What they discover is not just treasure, but the truth behind the derelict’s deadly reputation.
Andre Norton was a pioneer of science fiction and fantasy. She wrote stories filled with wonder, mystery, and adventure, but also compassion for outsiders, misfits, and people who never quite fit into ordinary worlds. Her characters often rely on knowledge, instinct, and courage rather than brute force.
“All Cats Are Gray” feels small and intimate, yet it opens wide into the mysteries of deep space. It shows why Andre Norton remains one of the most beloved voices in classic science fiction.
