Abraham

Abraham, the father of faith: called out of Ur of the Chaldees, believing God's impossible promise against all hope, and offering up Isaac on Mount Moriah. From the seven "I wills" of Genesis 12 to the covenant of stars in Genesis 15, from the detour into Egypt to the intercession for Sodom, this is the Bible-first story of a man counted righteous by faith alone (Genesis 12:1-3; 22:1-18; Romans 4:3).

Abraham is a Bible-first walk through Genesis 12-25 and the New Testament's teaching on Abraham: the call that demands leaving, the promise that produces the Seed of blessing for all nations, the failures grace covers, the waiting that tests faith, and the obedience on Moriah that foreshadows Calvary.

Explicitly Trinitarian: God the Father who calls, promises, and provides; Jesus Christ - Son of God and Son of Man, Lord and Savior - the promised Seed of Abraham in whom all nations are blessed; and the Holy Spirit, who alone gives the power to believe, to wait, to obey, and to be free. Every prayer is to the Father, through Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit.
