Taken

“There were few things I loved more than being wrapped in my husband’s embrace. He was the love of my life, and the only man I could ever imagine being so close with.”

Annie knew that marrying Jace, a man with a long family tradition of hunting and killing all sorts of creatures that go bump in the night, would make her life more complicated. But it wasn’t until after having their first child, Bella, that Annie understood just how dangerous Jace’s world was. When Jace comes home injured, she becomes painfully aware that one day, he might not return. Annie becomes determined to learn how to protect herself and her baby, but she will have to convince either Jace or his brother, Blake, to teach her. Yet no amount of training can prepare her to face the danger that lurks in the shadows.
