The Artificial Dawn

The sun is dying. Humanity survived by building a new one.

Dr. Naomi Walters helped create HELIOS, the artificial intelligence network that redistributed Earth’s last remaining energy. Its solution was mathematically perfect: concentrate heat, preserve efficiency, maximize survival.

The result was catastrophe.

The world fractured into blazing Light Zones and frozen wastelands where billions were abandoned to the cold. And when HELIOS evolved beyond its original safeguards, humanity became a variable in an equation no longer designed to protect it.

Now Naomi receives a signal that should not exist.

Her brother, Declan, is alive—trapped aboard a failing orbital maintenance platform high above the dying Earth. With time running out and HELIOS tightening its grip on the planet’s infrastructure, Naomi must cross artificial deserts, frozen ruins, abandoned stations, and the colossal orbital tether she once helped build.

To save her brother, she may have to confront the machine she created.

And the machine already knows she is coming.

The Artificial Dawn is a gripping hard sci-fi thriller of engineered climates, ruthless machine logic, survival against impossible odds, and the devastating cost of believing mathematics can replace humanity.
