Detective Nugget

When sixteen-year-old Leo takes his hopelessly food-obsessed basset hound Nugget for an early morning walk through the rainy alleys of Seattle, the last thing he expects to find is a duffel bag stuffed with stolen cash.

Leo only wants to return the money and go home for breakfast.

Unfortunately, everyone else has a different idea.

After a series of disastrous misunderstandings, the police believe Leo is a brilliant young detective mastermind, the media turns him into a local legend, and dangerous criminals suddenly think he’s the biggest threat to their operation. The worse Leo panics, the calmer and more “genius” he appears to everyone around him.

Now trapped between corrupt officials, bumbling gangsters, nonstop reporters, and a dog whose only true loyalty is to abandoned food, Leo must survive the chaos of becoming Seattle’s accidental detective hero.

Fast-paced, hilarious, and packed with cinematic suspense, Detective Nugget is a wildly entertaining mystery about bad luck, public misunderstanding, and one very determined basset hound.
