About this game

Drop a planet into empty space and watch gravity take hold of it.

Pocket Galaxy is a solar system simulator 3D sandbox where real orbital motion meets total creative freedom. Spawn planets, stars and gas giants, set them circling, and watch a living solar system settle into place. Then reshape it however you like: heat worlds until they glow, freeze them solid, or smash two together and let the debris scatter.

There are no levels and no timers here. The sandbox is the whole game, and the only clock is the one gravity keeps, so a quiet hour of orbital tinkering counts as playing it properly.

What you can do
• Build a universe from a huge variety of procedural planets, stars and gas giants
• Simulate real gravity and orbital motion in an open 3D sandbox
• Heat, cool, explode and smash planets to see what happens
• Unlock new planet types by changing the conditions in your solar system
• Follow the planet journal to watch how life develops on the worlds you create
• Enjoy detailed particles, atmospheres and destruction effects
• Screenshot your universe and share it with friends and family
• Save and load your creations and pick up where you left off

Drift through a galaxy of your own making, nudge a single orbit, and let gravity do the rest — a solar system simulator 3D that rewards patience as much as it rewards destruction. Engineer a perfectly balanced system, or wipe it out in one collision.

The solar system simulator runs on the same physics either way, so a galaxy you spent an evening balancing can come apart in seconds of deep space collision. That is what a space sandbox is for: nothing here is undoable except by you.

This is the full paid version of Pocket Galaxy. No ads, no in-app purchases, no interruptions. Pay once and own the whole universe.

I played the free version for a while before buying it, and have been playing with that for a few days, now. Really fun space toy. Smash stuff together. Make life. Suck stars dry with black holes. I wish I could be more precise with making orbits. I wish I could manipulate planet environments more. Sometimes the physics glitch out if you play with too much mass/speed.

I loved the free version enough to pay $5 for the whatever version this is. I tell you, unequivocally, without reservation, that it was easily one of the best spent $5 ever. I thoroughly enjoy this game and while I might occasionally delete it to make room for something new, I always always come back to it. I find it both relaxing and entertaining, and just challenging enough. And the music helps me to fall asleep when needed.

So far, pretty fun and interesting. Not really a finished product yet in the sense there's no obvious objective or direction. So far I've only clicked to create different objects that crash into each other until they unlock a denser object, repeat until you reach black hole, then...? I've had it on full fast forward almost the whole time. If there were objectives such that I'd be guided to create systems or something, that would be cool. Example of solar system makes Earth life die before 6 mo.
