About this app

BeatTime by Sigelith — the @beat clock and free proofs of existence in one app.

⏱ TIME
• The @beat clock: 1000 beats a day, one time for the whole world, anchored to UTC and synchronised with the server
• Widgets for the home screen and the cover screen of flip phones, several watch faces
• Converter between clock time and @beat
• The Beat — one moment a day for the whole planet (a notification only if you want one)
• Focus: 20 beats of work, 5 of rest
• Collection: catch @000, the triples and the mirrors

🔏 PROOFS
• Stamp a photo or any file: the phone computes its SHA-256 fingerprint, the file never leaves the device
• The fingerprint goes into the public Sigelith log; the same record is kept by independent witnesses: Bitcoin, a bank, GitHub, the Internet Archive and Zenodo (CERN)
• Check a file: whether and when this exact file was stamped
• PDF certificate and time capsules with proof from today

🤝 MEET
• Invitations to an @beat: a card with a QR code and a link — everyone sees the moment in their own time
• Confirm a meeting: tap your phones together (NFC) or use a QR code — you both sign the same moment and get a link you can show anywhere, even on social media
• Hand-to-hand handover: selling an item, handing over keys or a car, collecting a parcel in person — a record with photos, both sides' signatures and a PDF
• The other person needs no app: they can confirm in a browser, on an iPhone too
• Google Calendar: the @beat in your events

Honestly: a proof shows that this exact file existed at that moment and has not changed since — not who made it or whether it is true. Anyone can check it on sigelith.org, without the app and without us.
