The persimmon is the fruit of the Japanese late autumn: it ripens after the leaves have
gone, and a bare branch hung with orange fruit is one of the season's plainest pictures.
Here the branch is worked in black lacquer across a floor of grey stone, with the fruit
and the last of the leaves caught between the stones.

🍂 FALLING LEAVES
A leaf drifts down across the dial, swinging and turning as it falls. Three leaves take
turns, so a new one begins every twenty-seven seconds. They can be turned off.

🕐 ANALOG OR DIGITAL
One setting switches the whole face. Analog gives you lacquered hands over the stone;
digital stacks the hour above the minute in large figures, with the seconds beside them.
The digital clock follows your watch's own 12 or 24 hour setting, so a 24-hour watch
shows 21 and never an ambiguous 9.

🪨 FOUR STONES
Grey stone, blue slate, pale limestone and rust sandstone. The floor changes colour;
the persimmons and the leaves do not.

🖌️ THREE SETS OF HANDS
Black lacquer, tamenuri brown and blue black. Each set carries its own seconds hand.

⏱️ THREE WELLS
Three round openings are ground into the stone, at twelve, nine and six o'clock. Each
takes a readout of your choice from the Watch Face Format editor on your watch or phone.
A source that reports a goal draws a ring around its value; battery does this out of the
box, with steps and heart rate in the other two.

📅 DATE
A gold-framed aperture at three o'clock carries the day of the month, in analog and in
digital alike.

🎨 COMPLICATION COLOUR
Four inks for the three readouts: sumi black, persimmon, indigo and pine green.

🌙 AMBIENT MODE
Optimized for always-on display. The stone falls away to black and the dial's own hour
marks are left standing in gold, with pale hands or the pale digital time. The leaves
rest until you raise your wrist.
