Masajid Jordan is your guide to mosques across the Kingdom — prayer times, iqama times, the direction of the Qibla, and your daily adhkar, all in one free app.
FIND ANY MOSQUE IN JORDAN
Browse 2,275 mosques across all 12 governorates — Amman, Zarqa, Irbid, Balqa, Madaba, Karak, Tafilah, Ma'an, Aqaba, Mafraq, Jerash and Ajloun. See them all on a live map, sorted by how close they are to you, or drill down governorate by governorate. Tap any mosque for directions in your maps app of choice.
PRAYER TIMES YOU CAN TRUST
Accurate prayer times calculated for your exact location, with a live countdown to the next prayer. Umm al-Qura is the default, and you can switch to any of 11 calculation methods — Muslim World League, Egyptian General Authority, Jordan Awqaf, Karachi, Kuwait, Qatar, Dubai, ISNA, Moonsighting Committee, Turkey — or fine-tune the Fajr and Isha angles yourself.
IQAMA TIMES
Adhan is not the whole story, so every mosque also shows how long after the call to prayer the congregation stands. These are Jordan-wide default offsets for now — the same for every mosque — while real per-mosque schedules are collected and verified. Where a time has not been confirmed, the app says so instead of guessing.
ADHAN NOTIFICATIONS
Turn on a reminder for any prayer, individually. Choose the adhan you hear — one of two full recordings, or your phone's own sound — and give Fajr an adhan of its own. Alerts are quietly rescheduled as you move, so the times stay right when you travel across the country, and if your phone is set to hold notifications back, the app tells you instead of staying silent.
ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
A home-screen widget shows the next prayer with a live countdown — in a small size, or a larger one listing the whole day — without opening the app.
QIBLA COMPASS
A live compass that points to the Kaaba from wherever you are standing.
DHIKR, TASBIH AND REMINDERS
Forty-three adhkar in six collections — morning, evening, after prayer, before sleep, and more — each shown with its source. A tasbih counter that keeps both your count and your completed rounds. And your own reminders, at the times you choose, repeating daily if you want them to.
ISLAMIC OCCASIONS
The year's occasions — from the Hijri New Year and Ashura to Ramadan, the Day of Arafah and the two Eids — with their Hijri and Gregorian dates, and a reminder the day before if you want one.
VOLUNTARY FASTING REMINDERS
Never miss a sunnah fast. Turn on the ones you keep — Mondays and Thursdays, the white days of each Hijri month, the Day of Arafah, Tasu'a and Ashura, or six days of Shawwal — and get a reminder the evening before, plus one before Fajr for suhoor. Eid days are skipped automatically, and a simple tracker counts your six days of Shawwal.
GREETINGS TO SHARE
Make an Eid, Ramadan or Friday greeting in seconds. Start from a template, write your own words, and choose from six Arabic calligraphy fonts and twenty backgrounds. Then share it from your phone's share menu — to WhatsApp, Instagram or anywhere else.
