Admittedly biased. All I wanted was to download KawaiiNihongo to my new phone and found that there were two siblings of it available too, so I got this app on a whim. Sadly it does not work as intended. To be fair, I never knew this kind of word puzzle existed, so I had no clue what to expect. It does not work, BUT they clearly (and cutely) state it here. That and its lovely art work are the reasons for my awarding it 4 stars. I hope it gets sorted soon :)

if three out of four kana were decided each row, and the test was to see if the fourth kana could be guessed in five seconds or less, each wave would be a test of speed and knowledge. there could be a higher challenge with only two of the four kana given by the game. this current model, I don't understand

Very unfortunately from this dev it doesnt work properly. I stucked on the second question without nothing I can do, no more question, no interaction, nothing. When I click the back button, it leads me start again from the scratch and the same problem stucked on the second question remained.

Riko takes a break from solving puzzles and takes care of some bugs instead! She is sure you will enjoy learning Japanese even more and it makes the experience better for everyone.
