SmatMom — Screen Time Coach

SmatMom is a gentle screen-time coach that helps you stick to your daily phone-use goals. When you get close to the limit you set for yourself, a friendly Mom character shows up and reminds you — without blocking anything.

Key features
• Daily screen time goal + per-category sliders (SNS, Video, Games)
• An overlay Mom character that appears on top of other apps — two motions: fall-and-walk / peekaboo
• Short nudges as you approach your goal
• Automatic per-app category classification + manual overrides
• Adjustable nudge frequency (rare / normal / frequent)
• No cloud sync, no account — everything stays on your device

Permissions and how they are used
• Usage access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS): measures your per-app usage against the goals you set.
• Display over other apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): shows a short nudge while you are using other apps.
• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): alerts you when your goal is near or exceeded.
• Foreground service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE): keeps the usage check running in the background.

SmatMom does not read your messages, screen contents, location, contacts, or call history. Usage data is used only to compute goal progress and never leaves your device.
