Bauhaus Minimal – Watch Face

Bauhaus Minimal strips a watch face down to what is left when nothing is decorative.

Two giant numerals hold the centre. A thin arc runs around the edge and grows clockwise from twelve with the minutes of the hour. One coloured mark circles an inner orbit once a minute — that is your second hand. Below them two quiet rows read label | value. Everything else is empty space.

WHAT YOU GET
• 8 palettes – Black & Red, Black & Yellow, Black & Blue, Paper & Red, Paper & Blue, Blue & Yellow, Red & White and Monochrome. Every pixel on the dial follows the palette, which carries its own bright ink for the always-on screen
• Outer ring – minute progress arc, plain closed ring, or none
• Seconds mark on or off – circling once a minute, or parked at twelve
• Date row – weekday with month name, numeric, or hidden
• Geometric marks – the Bauhaus square, triangle and circle at three, six and nine, four quarter ticks, or nothing
• 8 one-tap presets, or mix your own
• 1 complication slot on the bottom row. Short text and ranged value are both supported, and a ranged value adds a thin progress bar under the value. The label is whatever the provider itself supplies, so it never lies. Each preset arrives with its own default provider – steps, battery, heart rate, or empty
• Battery states drawn as shapes instead of icons – the mark becomes a square while charging and a triangle below 20%
• Tap the time for your alarms, tap the date for your calendar
• 12 or 24-hour time, following your watch settings
• Always-on display – black screen, thin strokes only, around 8% of pixels lit

NOT A SINGLE IMAGE FILE
The dial contains no pictures. Every shape and every letter is drawn by the watch itself, which is why changing a palette repaints the entire screen and why this face asks so little of your watch.

BUILT FOR YOUR BATTERY
Bauhaus Minimal is written in Google's Watch Face Format. No app code runs on your watch, nothing connects to the internet, and there is no companion phone app to install.

PRIVACY
The watch face collects no data. The value in the bottom row is drawn by Wear OS from the provider you choose and never leaves your watch.

COMPATIBILITY
Galaxy Watch4, Watch5, Watch6, Watch7, Watch Ultra and other round Wear OS 5+ watches (Android 14, API 34 and above). Best on displays of 450 px or larger.
