Ember Lexis is a fully offline dictionary and phrasebook designed for anyone who wants quick access to words, definitions, and curated phrase collections without relying on an internet connection or creating an account.
Browse the entire lexicon alphabetically or jump straight to what you need using instant search. Each entry includes a clear definition and usage examples to show the word in context. Thematic phrase collections group related expressions together, making it easier to explore language by topic rather than by individual lookup.
All data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is synced, and no account is required. The app works entirely offline from the moment you install it.
A PIN lock keeps your session private. Appearance and behavior can be adjusted in Settings — choose your preferred sort order, default starting tab, and whether entries display as compact rows, cards, or a grid layout.
The interface uses a clean, readable design with a typewriter-style splash screen on launch. Empty states stay out of your way, showing only a floating action button so you can get started immediately.
No ads, no subscriptions, no account setup. Just a straightforward reference tool that works.
