It's terrible since it was updated/changed. The font, the layout, the contrast, everything. Scrolling thru an article hurts ones brain because you run into ads or links to other articles and making it difficult or confusing to find the rest of the article you're still reading. I avoid this app as much as I can or look for other sources regarding the subject. It's almost like it's trying to look like a newspaper, but its just maddening more than anything else. Pretty sure Im deleting it.

I downloaded this app to conveniently access news in my area, but the software of this app is very faulty. If I recieve a notification of a story, I will not be able to click on it to access the article, the app will bug out and close. And then I can't even search for the stories/articles I am curious about on the app, I have to go to a search engine to do it. The newest update looks sleek, but I am still facing the same software problems before the update.

I am obliged to give yet another update to my review with what just happened to the app. The splash screen is now just a pulsing logo, No more iconic scenes of Boise. I am doubtful it will change based on the time of day as it used to do. When the app does open, it refuses to adhere to my device preference for dark mode or even provide an option. And last, it does not seem to provide a quick intro to top stories. I would say farewell as I leave, but the best I have is fare-better.
