This one is simple and addicting. Totally worth it. There's a "No Ads" in the store, but I've been playing for days and havent seen a single forced ad. Upgrades leave a little to be desired. They aren't bad, just really weak. I'm still a bit low level so maybe they get better. Also you usually get multiple cards, or permanent changeable upgrades, per run which deserves praise. Plenty of upgrades and different enemies keeps it interesting. Check it out.

I've only played a few levels, but it's pretty decent. The music is great, my favorite thing about the game so far. One really annoying bug: sometimes it offers you a new ability but won't give it to you when you select it, then it will offer the same ability at level 1 again the next time you level up. I've had this happen twice already in the 5 runs I played. Would also love to be able to see everything I have equipped in the pause screen.

Not a fan of the forced vertical movement, it feels like a lazy design choice. Another thing I don't like is the over-monitization of the game itself; Base game content should ALWAYS be unlockable through gameplay mechanics, full stop. If you're just after money then ask for it up front, rather than being deceptive about unlocks. Alternatively, you could sell additional content via DLC. It should be robust & add quality to the game, without being necessary to beat it or feel complete, though.
