Soundings: Fishing Watch Face

Soundings turns your watch into a little nautical chart. Depth contours, a compass rose and chart-style cartouches hold everything an angler checks before heading out: the weather, the tide, the sun and the moon.

- Live weather from your watch: condition icon (sun, clouds, rain, storm, fog, snow, wind; day and night versions), temperature and chance of rain
- Live moon phase cartouche with the illuminated percentage
- Two customizable cartouches: put your tide app in one (next high or low tide) and sunrise/sunset in the other, or any compatible complication
- Day and date cartouche
- Nautical chart dial with depth contours (can be turned off), soundings and a 32-point compass rose
- 6 colours: chart, night chart, admiralty, deep, sepia and slate
- Sweeping seconds hand (can be turned off)
- Dedicated always-on mode with weather, date and a dimmed moon, designed to keep power use and screen burn-in low

GOOD TO KNOW
Weather comes from your watch's weather service (enable location and weather on the watch). Tide times come from the tide app you choose for a cartouche; this watch face does not include tide data by itself. The compass rose is decorative and does not point north.

Built with Google's Watch Face Format: no code runs on your watch, no background services, no tracking and no permissions.

COMPATIBILITY
Wear OS 5 or newer: Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and later updated to One UI 6 Watch or newer (including Watch5 Pro, Watch6, Watch7, Watch8 and Ultra), Google Pixel Watch and other Wear OS 5+ watches. Not compatible with Apple Watch, Garmin, Fitbit OS or Tizen watches.

HOW TO INSTALL
Install it from Google Play on your watch, or from your phone choosing your watch as the install device. Then long-press your current watch face and select Soundings. Tap Customize to change colours and complications.
