About this game

Cryptex Challenge is an IQ test game built from 60 brain teasers, and your score grows with every one you solve. By the game's own rating, 90% of people can get through the first level of riddles, but only 5% the last.

Five Levels, Each Harder Than the Last
The puzzles come in 5 levels of rising difficulty, and every right answer opens the cryptex and leads you to the next one. By level five you are taking a hard IQ test, where even good players get stuck. That is the Cryptex Challenge: an IQ challenge you take one step at a time.

What You Will Solve
Each of the 60 IQ riddles is a picture with a rule hidden in it. Find the next number in a sequence. Count the squares hidden in a single figure. Work out what the numbers in three triangles have in common. Most are math riddles and number puzzles built on sequences, sums and shapes. A few take lateral thinking, with letters and words where you expect numbers.

These brain games do not ask how fast you can tap. They ask how well you can think. If you like logic games and math puzzles that look simple and are not, this one is for you.

Your Score Moves as You Play
In this IQ test game, your IQ score moves while you play: every puzzle you solve adds to it, and every hint you use lowers what that puzzle is worth. Solve one with no help for all three stars, and on the first try for the full reward.

Your statistics show how many puzzles you have solved, how many earned three stars, how many times you pressed CHECK and how much help you used. So when you test your IQ here, they tell you not only how far you got, but how you got there.

How to Play
A cryptex is a cylinder with turning rollers that opens only when the right code lines up. Study the picture, turn the rollers to set your answer and press CHECK. Right answer, and the cryptex opens. Wrong answer, and that puzzle is worth a little less, so look twice before you press CHECK.

Each riddle comes with two hints, Little Help and Big Help, and the full solution. These are riddles with answers, so you never stay stuck for good.

Features
• 60 riddles built on numbers, sequences, shapes and letters.

• A score that grows with every puzzle you solve.
• Up to three stars per puzzle, plus detailed statistics.
• Plays offline, even on a plane.
• Fills the whole screen on tablets.
• Speaks 28 languages.
• Free to play, with ads and no in-app purchases.

Questions Before You Start

Is this a real IQ test?
It is a game, and your score is the game's own scale. Everyone starts at 55, and each puzzle you solve adds up to 2 points, less for help and wrong answers. It shows how well you handle logic puzzles, not what a psychologist would measure.

Can I play offline?
Yes. Every puzzle works without an internet connection. Only the ads and the video that opens the next riddle need one.

Who is it for?
For adults who enjoy brain teasers and logic puzzles. If you want IQ games with a finish line, this is one.

What if I get stuck?
Take Little Help, then Big Help, then the solution. Each one lowers what that puzzle earns you. Now and then you can also watch a short video to open the next riddle and come back to this one later. Skipping costs nothing: a skipped riddle keeps its full value until you return.

Sixty riddles. Five levels. One IQ test. Turn the first roller and see how far you get.
Test your IQ on brain teasers and logic puzzles, and watch your score grow.

some fun puzzles, some dumb (2+2=?), and some maddeningly unsolvable. I only got about halfway through in the 2hrs I spent, and found several that could have more than one answer (eg: 1,2, what's next? 3? No, it's 4! This an ACTUAL example, but highly simplified from their version - which was more like X, X+a, (X+a)+2a,?? but clocks). So it's not good as an actual test but still gets you thinking, and most of them are good. oh, and ":" means ÷ division & the handwritten 9 might be an 8 (in #28)

Very challenging, i love it, i have one request thought, for some of the Math quizzes id like for worked out solutions because when i give up and ask for "answer" it give you a straight answer, i get curious as to how some of the calculation are worked out, maths is actually my weaknesses lol, other than that its a great app, theres little to no adds, honestly I haven't seen any in a while, and when it pops up, its not even 5 seconds, hats off 5 stars well deserved..

there are a couple of errors. they also couldn't be bothered to correctly represent division symbols. the scoring is NOT accurate for IQ. the puzzles "sort of" get harder but there are several that are relatively easy that occur after hard puzzles. too many of these require guessing about what combination of numbers to apply what basic operation to. overall it's not terrible but it's a good thing it's free.
