Chronicles of Animal Town

Chronicles of Animal Town is a sweeping, emotionally powerful story about loyalty, loss, vengeance, and the impossible choices that define a community — written by 11-year-old Hans Tolentino.

THE STORY
Between 1976 and 1981, Animal Town lived through five years that no one who survived them would ever fully leave behind. The Poorpup Massacre claimed thousands of lives. Forty-six years later, the true cost of vengeance has only begun.

When Hans Fluffyfur finally confronts the family responsible for his grandmother's death, he discovers that justice and revenge are not the same thing. Across heated debates, twisted loyalties, and impossible choices, a new generation must decide: will they perpetuate the cycle of bloodshed, or find the courage to break it?

"Everyone has a choice. And each choice has a consequence." — Ada Fluffyfur
