I was unable to sign up on the app. The screen is too wide for smartphone use and some buttons are hidden at the bottom of the screen since it displays on landscape orientation by default. There's also no option given for changing the display to portrait view. I found this very stupid and annoying.

Playback doesn't work. Since this review I have found out. Dahua has changed server ,my DVR doesn't auto update the software ( although it's only 2 years old ) so my DVR won't talk to the app ,this is the issue with a lot of users ,the fix is several manual updates ,it won't do it in one update or buy a new box !!

App constantly drops (connection failed) even though everything is working. Landscape mode only. Motion notifications don't work and I have to play through the video and watch if I'm looking for something specific (up to 8x speed but seriously it wastes time). I just can't with this anymore. š©
