What left one hand can look very different by the time it reaches another. Shigowa helps a sender and receiver create one clearer record of a money transfer from two independent viewpoints.
The sender records the amount sent, currency, transfer service, method, promised amount, and date. Shigowa creates a short pairing code that the sender can pass through any communication method they already use. The receiver enters that code and records what was actually collected. Split collections and collections in different currencies can be added separately.
Once both records are paired, Shigowa compares dated currency reference values with the actual collection. It separates the route or service difference from currency movement between the send and collection dates, then explains the result in money rather than a percentage. The reference series, effective dates, and fallback window remain visible with the calculation.
Confirmed pairs can contribute to route evidence without exposing a household record. A route cell appears only after at least 8 confirmed pairs across 5 independent clusters. Shigowa uses the median, middle-half range, and a trimmed mean, and excludes related or repeated records as a group. When evidence is thin, the app says so and shows no provider ranking.
Shigowa supports sender-first or receiver-first recording, offline capture with automatic retry, partial and multi-part collections, paired-record notifications, reporting and blocking, data export, optional biometric unlock, and a separate PIN.
Shigowa does not send, receive, hold, exchange, or lend money. It does not provide a wallet, connect to a financial account, recommend informal routes, or identify a branch, agent, or household in public evidence. Daily currency values are reference comparisons, not guaranteed tradable quotes.
Pair what was sent with what arrived and understand real transfer costs.
