Christmas Lights Watch Face

A festive Christmas lights watch face for Wear OS, with a countdown to the New Year. An old brick wall on a snowy street corner at night, a street lamp glowing warm, a garland of big old-fashioned bulbs along the top. The time is spelled across the wall in a string of twinkling Christmas lights.

A digital face in lights
• Big numbers made of Christmas bulbs on a wire show the time, in 12- or 24-hour format as your watch is set, with the day and date underneath.
• Your steps, unread notifications and battery are on the tags of three presents in the snow.

A countdown to the New Year
• On New Year's Eve the bulbs count down the last ten seconds, 10 to 1, and at midnight they spell the new year while fireworks burst over the wall.

What moves
• Each minute the bulbs flicker as the new minute lights up, the lamp's glow twinkles and a flurry of snow drifts down.
• Every hour a wave of light runs along the garland.
• Tap the lights and sparks burst out of them.
• In always-on mode the face turns dark: the time in soft bulbs, the date, your steps and your battery, to save power.

Make it yours
• Bulbs: multicolour, warm white, gold or ice blue.
• Snowfall: on by default; switch it off to save a little battery.
• Three complications on the gift tags: steps, unread notifications and battery by default. Choose other data for any of them in the watch face editor.

Made for the holidays
• An animated Christmas look for December, holiday parties, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
• The New Year's Eve countdown and fireworks switch on by themselves on December 31: no setup needed.
